Bio

I have been teaching art to children in elementary and middle school for over 15 years, and hold a Master of Arts degree in Art Education from The Rhode Island School of Design. As an art teacher I strive to create an environment where every child can find success and feel a sense of fulfillment through the process of making art.

A New York State native, I've spent the last 15 years living in northern California, a stone's throw from the Pacific Ocean where I enjoy hiking through the redwoods, mountain-biking, and traveling. Currently I am gearing up to return to New York with my husband and daughter, where I look forward to experiencing the rich cultural scene, the dramatic change of seasons, and being closer to family.
